New fire safety legislation

ODPM is currently developing new general fire safety legislation for Wales. Their aim is to rationalise and consolidate the many pieces of existing legislation and to provide a risk-based approach to fire safety. The new fire legislation is called The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and is to be implemented in October 2006.

One section of this new reform states that employers have the responsibility for Fire Prevention and to ensure that their employees receive adequate Fire Safety Training on a regular basis. We guarantee that the training we provide will meet an employers obligations as defined within current legislation and the forthcoming Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety order)
